Chief Scott Fournier

YOUR FIRE CHIEF

Berkley Fire and Rescue is a combination department with approximately 45 on-call volunteer members and 4 full-time personnel. We respond to thousands of medical and fire emergencies, alarm activations, motor vehicle accidents, and many other requests for service that initiate within the 16.4 square miles that comprise the boundaries of the Town of Berkley as well as request assistance from local towns and other state agencies.

I, personally, joined the Berkley Fire and Rescue Department in 1984. Volunteering with the fire department has become a family tradition as my grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, wife and children have all served the department in some capacity. I am profoundly proud of be the third generation to serve as chief of the department following my father and grandfather.

As Chief, I am honored to represent the dedicated men and women who proudly serve the Town of Berkley. Our service has provided outstanding fire suppression, public education and prevention, emergency medical services and other specialized response for more than 45 years.
